We launched the RABI programme through a collaboration with the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). This programme utilises robots to provide children with autism with a sense of security. These robots are used to facilitate their learning by creating a peaceful environment that encourages interactions with others. From our collaboration, we hoped to use technology to transform the lives of others. However, the robot of CUHK was too bulky and costly for underprivileged families. Therefore, we developed a new robot, "Bob", to make the programme more accessible and spread the benefits of STEAM to a broader audience.
