Programme Structure

As Hong Kong's largest and most successful robotics programme, 
our 200+ members participate in various teams and divisions
according to their interests and differing age groups.

Team Sigma

Team Sigma

Team Sigma is the flagship team of the DBS Robotics Programme. Comprised of Team 10131 Royal Turtles, Hong Kong's second-ever FRC team, and 11 FTC teams, members of Team Sigma represent DBS Robotics and Hong Kong at international competitions.

Team Delta

Team Delta is the entry-level team of DBS Robotics. It is open to all students regardless of their background and prior knowledge in STEAM.  We aim to foster students' passion and confidence in STEAM and help them develop the skills necessary to succeed in our flagship Team Sigma. In this team, students​ will be able to experience two unique robotics courses, VEX IQ and VEX V5. These courses will help students develop foundational engineering skills and the innovator mindset, aiding students' transition to the rigorous and world-class environment of Team Sigma.

PRISM

(Partnerships, Research & Development, Innovation, Social Impact, Marketing)

 

PRISM is a subteam which students can join alongside Team Delta or Team Sigma. PRISM manages DBS Robotics' FIRST and Community Outreach, helps the team maintain a high profile internationally and promotes equitable access to STEAM education. This team provides students with a platform to develop various essential soft skills, ranging from project management to graphics design and media production. Moreover, students who join will receive the opportunity to collaborate with academia and the industry on various research and development projects, gaining experience in solving real world engineering problems. Overall, PRISM aims to equip students with the skills required to succeed in the future whilst creating a positive impact on the community, serving as the operational backbone of DBS Robotics.
