Inspired by the Everybot of FRC Team 118 Robonauts, we (FRC Team 10131 & FTC Team 23070 Royal Turtles) launched Basebot, an accessible, comprehensive and reliable FTC starterbot designed to help rookie teams begin their journey in FTC. By open-sourcing the CAD and BOM, we provide a competitive, low-cost base for other teams to design their own unique and competitive robot. Empowering more than 13 teams around the world, our accomplishments with Basebot have led to two interviews with FIRST Updates Now - the top FIRST Youtube channel, spreading our efforts to make FIRST accessible to more than 60,000 people.
